Nate Marquart is no stranger to the Central Coast.
He is the 5th generation to be born and raised on his family’s ranch in Templeton, CA. He has seen the area grow from a sleepy agricultural town to an appealing destination for people from all over the world. Nate’s introduction to sales and marketing started in college in Chico, CA. There, he managed a handful of bars and restaurants, each opportunity a little different from the next, but all with the same focus; customer service and sales.
After college Nate was approached by a national amusement company who utilized his skills in a handful of different capacities; from management and marketing to building sites in San Francisco, England and Las Vegas.
After a while though, Nate began to miss the good life on the Central Coast and decided to come back to his roots. Who knew that a cellar position one harvest at a local winery would lead him to the path he is on today. His experience in the wine industry started as a “cellar rat”, but his talents were quickly noticed and he made the transition back to sales and marketing.
Over the years, Nate has been an integral part of a handful of sales and marketing teams for various wineries on the Central Coast. A highlight came when Wine Spectator named his wine education tour as one of the best experiences on the Central Coast of California.
